We are hiring for the newly created position as Communications & Sustainability Manager based in Panama. In this job, you will work to: • Support employee engagement through impactful internal communication • Position Pandora as an attractive employer • Place Pandora in key news, business and trade media and at impactful speaking podiums • Engage stakeholders to drive our sustainability agenda • Lead local issues management The position reports to the HR Director of Pandora Latin America and forms part of the Global Communications & Sustainability organisation, collaborating closely with colleagues in several markets with a seat on our global communications forum and an active role in global projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The position includes broad responsibility across communications and sustainability for our Latin America Cluster organisation combined with specialist responsibilities in Pandora’s global communications and sustainability activities - what we call a “T-role”.

The main areas of responsibility are:


Latin America cluster focus
Plan, craft and publish communication content about Pandora in Latin America on our internal channels
Expand the reach and impact of our global channels throughout our Latin America cluster organisation
Advice and support our LA management team in employee engagement/change management
Drive employer branding campaigns in Latin America 

Global focus
Take part in developing global messages and concepts for internal communications and employer branding 
As a member of Pandora’s global media relations programme, build relations to international and regional business media, industry opinions leaders and social media, and secure relevant speaking opportunities
Contribute in global sustainability projects with e.g. trend analyses and engagement with authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Professional qualifications 

Master’s degree in either communications, journalism, business economics, or societal studies
7+ yrs professional experience from corporate communications and sustainability, including relations building to high-level media across business and dailies, crafting corporate messages for external and internal use, and orchestrating speaking opportunities
Understanding of the wider industry and sustainability agenda, and how this impacts corporates and brands
Experience from working in a global matrix organisation and capacity to contribute in globally networked projects
Experience with issues management, preferably from a consumer-oriented business
Experience from global organisation
Fluent in English and Spanish – verbally and written. Strong writing skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
