Community engagement
At Pandora, inclusion and belonging are integral values and central to our purpose of 'giving a voice to people's loves'. Our community engagement reflects this commitment - by supporting children, young people and communities around us, we help more people find and use their voice and create opportunities to build brighter futures.
STANDING TOGETHER IN TIMES OF CRISIS
When unexpected crises strike, we mobilise quickly to support humanitarian efforts through our UNICEF partnership. Contributions include:
- Earthquakes in Turkiye and Syria (2023): Donation of over DKK 1.5 million to UNICEF's emergency response.
- War in Ukraine (2022): One of UNICEF’s first partners to respond with approx. DKK 7 million for health and psychosocial support.
- COVID-19 Pandemic (2020): DKK 7 million donation to help UNICEF protect children during the global crisis.
EMPOWERING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Since 2019, Pandora has partnered with UNICEF to support children and young people worldwide, with a special focus on girls, through educational programmes designed to champion their empowerment. To date, we have contributed more than USD 16 million to UNICEF, helping more than 2.4 million children globally. Half of our contribution supports programmes that empower girls through learning, while the remaining funding provides UNICEF with the flexibility to respond where the need is greatest - including urgent, life-saving interventions.
CHAMPIONING INCLUSION AND BELONGING
We are dedicated to creating spaces - inside and outside Pandora - where everyone feels they belong. Highlights from recent years include:
- International Women's Day: Partnering with ProWoc (Professional Women of Colour) and hosting public events focused on empowerment and career progression.
- Global Pride: Uniting our PRIDE Employee Resource Groups to launch company-wide awareness campaigns, virtual events and new eLearning on inclusion and belonging.
SUPPORTING EDUCATION IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES
For nearly two decades, our My School Project in Thailand has empowered children through access to quality learning environments. Each school we build or refurbish is nominated by our local employees. In 2025, we proudly handed over our 19th school, continuing our long-standing commitment to education, opportunity and community-led change.
