Carbon neutral in own operations Reducing emissions across the value chain

Low-carbon business

We assess our climate-related risks and report our footprint on an annual basis to achieve our targets and ensure our business is prepared for a low-carbon future.

PANDORA'S COMMITMENT

  1. Pandora will reduce its GHG emissions 50% by 2030 from a 2019 baseline (Scope 1 + 2 + 3).* To achieve this Pandora will:
    • become carbon neutral in its own operations by 2025, reducing emissions by at least 90% from a 2019 baseline (Scope 1 + 2). Carbon removal mechanisms and offsets will balance any remaining emissions.
    • reduce value chain emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2019 baseline (Scope 3).
  1. Pandora will achieve net zero emissions by 2040.

*The target has been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative and aligns with the Paris Agreement and what climate science says is necessary to limit global warming to 1.5⁰ C.

Our commitment

“Addressing climate change is one of the greatest challenges facing the world today, and as a large global company we have an obligation to contribute to the necessary solutions. Responsible business practices such as recycling of materials and waste have always been part of Pandora’s way of operating, and we now commit to ambitious targets to reduce our carbon emissions and help drive sustainability in the jewellery industry”
