Global brand ambassador, actress Pamela Anderson, and newly announced ambassador, singer Tyla, both elevated their looks with Pandora's lab-grown diamonds at one of the biggest red-carpet moments of the year. Pamela Anderson, wearing 24 carats of lab-grown diamonds from the Era collection repurposed from her 2024 Debut Met Gala Look, attended alongside her son Brandon Thomas Lee, who wore a matching custom Pandora brooch utilizing repurposed Pandora diamonds.
Tyla's custom look was inspired by the menswear tradition of pairing suiting with fine timepieces. Her jewellery echoed pocket watches, featuring a Pandora ME chain, a six-carat lab-grown diamond heart pendant from the Talisman collection, and a bespoke diamond-set monocle with a custom magnifying lens. The full look totalled 30 carats of lab-grown diamonds.
Berta de Pablos-Barbier, Chief Marketing Officer of Pandora.
"The lab-grown diamonds in these pieces reflect our commitment to accessible and more sustainable luxury. We see this as the future of luxury--conscious, bold, and uncompromising."
Held annually on the first Monday of May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Met Gala, organised by Vogue, is widely regarded as one of the world's most prestigious and glamorous fashion events.
As part of its Phoenix growth strategy, Pandora is making significant investments in its brand to reposition itself as a full jewellery brand. The focus is on building awareness and desirability, and the results are already promising, with increased traffic across stores and online channels.
A key driver of this transformation is high-profile collaborations and strategic partnerships that elevate Pandora's presence in the world of accessible luxury. The brand's lab-grown diamonds, which have been seen on global celebrities at some of the world's most prestigious events, are reshaping the diamond industry, setting a new benchmark for sustainability and innovation.
All of Pandora's jewellery is made with 100% recycled silver and gold. The lab-grown diamonds are grown, cut and polished using 100% renewable energy.
