The British Fashion Council unveils the Pandora Leader of Change Award to be presented at The Fashion Awards 2023 by Pamela Anderson

11-22-2023

The British Fashion Council (BFC) is thrilled to announce the introduction of The Pandora Leader of Change Award which will be presented at The Fashion Awards 2023 (TFA) by actress and global Pandora ambassador, Pamela Anderson. TFA presented by Pandora will take place on Monday 4th December at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Organised by the BFC, TFA is the primary fundraiser for the BFC Foundation and celebrates the role of fashion at the intersection of culture and entertainment, spotlighting creative talent and telling the stories of the year in fashion through the lens of purpose, excellence, and creativity.

The Pandora Leader of Change Award celebrates a person who leads with innovation to create positive change globally. They consistently challenge the status quo. Their work is empowering, progressive and forward-thinking. They use their platform to positively shift perceptions as a result of their deep commitment to moving the dial when it comes to authentic representation. In direct alignment with these principles, the Award will be presented on the night by Pamela Anderson.

Through her groundbreaking acting work, and outspoken advocacy on various social issues, Anderson embodies female empowerment and progressiveness, positioning her as an ideal presenter for the Award. Anderson’s ability to take control of her own narrative and reshape her public image showcases her unwavering commitment to authentic representation. Anderson is  Pandora’s global ambassador for the full jewellery brand, and the face of Pandora Lab Grown Diamonds, a range which features diamonds that are grown, cut and polished with 100% renewable energy and set in 100% recycled silver or gold.

Being a pioneer and being yourself is difficult to do in a world like today that is constantly telling you to be something else. It is challenging to choose the path no one has walked before, speak the words that aren't the ones everybody else says. In times where trends take the entire globe within the blink of an eye, we desperately need these unique thinkers that dare to step out of the sameness we see across so many platforms today. I am honoured to present the Pandora Leader of Change Award at The Fashion Awards 2023,” commented global Pandora Ambassador, Pamela Anderson.

The Fashion Awards 2023 presented by Pandora bring together a global community in London, the home of fashion creativity, to amplify leaders of change, celebrate excellence in creativity, and support the next generation of creative talent. The event is the primary fundraiser of the BFC Foundation (Registered Charity Number: 1185152), which supports the future growth and success of the British fashion industry by focusing on education, grant-giving, and business mentoring. In the financial year 2022/2023, the BFC remitted over £1.2M in funds to designers and scholars.
