Packaging and store materials

Another key focus area is how we design our packaging to ensure it adheres to the same circularity principles as our products. We believe that a beautiful piece of jewellery should come in packaging that is designed with the environment in mind.

We are exploring how we can use more circular materials that can be easily reused or recycled as well as how new approaches to design can reduce the amount of material used and the size of the packaging. Making progress on our packaging impact will also help to lower our transportation footprint. We are also looking into how we can make our stores more sustainable by using circular materials for our display counters and through more efficient lighting.

New packaging designed with sustainability in mind

Pandora is committed to reducing its environmental impact. We are working hard to make sure all our materials are renewable, recycled or otherwise sustainable. That's why we're excited to present our new and improved packaging. The new bags and boxes are available world wide.

Less plastic

We are eliminating all plastic from our carrier bags and reducing the plastic content in our new jewelry boxes by more than 75%. All paper used in the packaging is FSCTM certified1, meaning that it comes from well-managed forests and recycled sources.

Lower carbon emissions

Without compromising on quality, the new sleek box designs are made with fewer materials, which makes them easier to recycle. The new design results in more than 60% fewer greenhouse gas emissions, compared to our earlier versions of jewellery boxes.

Recycle your packaging

Join us in reducing the impact on our planet by reusing or recycling your paper packaging whenever possible. Together we can make a difference.
